Mama, I Wanna Make Rhythm
$ 100
Written by some folks I never heard of in 1937, this song was made popluar by Cab Calloway. One of the composers is listed as Jerome K Jerome, and I've always wondered if that was Jerome Kern writing under an assumed name - didn't want to be known as the composer of THAT kind of song. Just thinking out loud. It's for women, commissioned by Cabaret, Int'l Sweet Adeline finalists (with my wife Holly as the outstanding baritone).
