London By Night
$ 100
Written by Carroll Coates in 1950. I found it interesting that the second line of the chorus is "there is magic abroad in the air," very reminiscent of the line in "Berkely Square," "There was magic afloat in the air". B Square was written in 1943, so maybe Mr. Coates was inspired by the earlier song. The bridge does that key change thing too, just like Berkeley Square. Hmmm. London by Night is a great song, for women. but could be adapted for men.
