The Way We Were
$ 100

One of my favorite charts (that is, ones I did). A great Marvin Hamlish song, made famous by his buddy Barbra Striesand. We did a show in Baltimore with Marvin (we called him Marvin), and he was a very cool guy. "We" were half of Joker's Wild and a fair bass named Jeff Oxley, and me bringing up the rear on baritone. A fun week. Sung by the Dealer's Chice early in our career. Barbershoppy but with a few modern touches. Great bari part near the end with a skip of an octave and a half step. I wrote it for myself, the famous baritone of the Dealer's Choice.
