Interesting story behind this chart. The Doo Dads sang it in about 1968 (Brian was the tenor in that quartet, Finalists a couple of times in the late sixties. I (Brian) got a call from this elderly fellow who introduced himself as Johnny Lange. He said he wrote that song (he did) and didn't have a copy of it, and did we have a copy and would we send it to him? I did and we did, and he would call us every so often and we would chat. He also wrote "Mule Train" and a bunch of other hits in the fifties and maybe latger. Grandfather of Hope Lange, the actress.
